King of Grace focuses on academic excellence with an emphasis on encouraging each student grow in their knowledge and mastery of the subject matter. Through a regular cycle of evaluation and review, our faculty strives to improve our curriculum and raise achievement outcomes.  Spelling, penmanship, phonics, grammar, and reading are integral to our Language Arts curriculum.  Our math curriculum focuses on traditional approaches to mathematical operations and problem solving applications.  We round out this academic core with a strong lab-based science program, history, geography, art, music and physical education.  All of our curriculum is taught in light of God’s word.

In addition to classroom learning, our students participate in public speaking competitions, a fine arts festival, and an academic fair.  We have a school spelling bee, geography bee and math competition with opportunities to advance to regional and state competitions.  Our students take their learning out of the classroom through field trips to Orchestra Hall, the capitol, the arboretum, children’s theater productions, the Minnesota zoo, and Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.  Our alumni tell us that they are well prepared for life after King of Grace as they continue their academic careers.
