    Welcome to New Staff!
  • With profound thanks and praise to our living Savior, we are excited to announce and welcome Candidate of Theology Aaron Ferkenstad to King of Grace!  Aaron graduated from our ELS Seminary on Wednesday, May 10, at which point he also received his assignment to our congregation.  Pastor Ferkenstad will be joining our pastoral staff this summer with an official start date to be determined.  A special thanks to all King of Grace staff, our boards, members, and friends for your prayers, council, and patience as we can finally celebrate the conclusion of a nearly 2-year journey to fill our pastoral vacancy.

Additionally, Amber (Nord) Simpson has accepted our call to teach 5th grade.  Amber is a lifelong member of our congregation, attended our grade school, and attended and graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 2014 with a degree in education.  We happily welcome her to our staff!

    Summer Worship Schedule
  • Our summer worship schedule begins Sunday, May 28.  We will have two worship services at 8:15 AM and 10:00 AM with no Bible Class or Sunday School in between services.

    Attention Summer Campers!
  • The Youth Board, in its desire to promote our church camp ministries, is offering a rebate of 50% off camp registrations (up to $150) for any of our youth attending one of the summer camps within our fellowship. Contact Pastor Wiechmann at bwiechmann@kog-els.org for further details.
    Summer Office Schedule

    Sunday School Teachers Needed
  • Great news! Due to the large numbers of Sunday School students we anticipate this fall, we will be in need of many Sunday School teachers. Please consider volunteering your time to be a positive role model and teach God’s Word. No teaching experience is necessary. Please contact Bonnie Nielsen at bnielsen@kog-els.org or Pastor Wiechmann at bwiechmann@kog-els.org for more information.
