Sign up on the Flower Chart on the wall across from the main entrance to the Fellowship Hall and fill out the “Altar Flowers Order Form” to provide flowers to beautify our sanctuary in memory of, or to celebrate loved ones. Flower bouquets are $28. Reminder: If you ordered flowers for one of our Sunday services and took home the plastic white cup, please return it to the church office or the kitchen as soon as possible. These need to be returned to the florist for creating our arrangements. Thank you!

Summer Worship Schedule
Our summer worship schedule begins NEXT SUNDAY, MAY 27. We will have worship services at 8:15 and 10:00 AM. Monday night worship continues at the regular time at 6:30 PM. Sunday School and Bible studies will resume in the Fall.

West Lutheran High School Women's Self-Defense Class
West Lutheran High School is offering a women's self-defense class this summer for women 18 and older. Come join us June 11-15 for an afternoon session (3-4 PM) or an early evening session (6-7 PM). There are sessions for your middle school and high school-aged children as well, so make it a family activity!

ELS 100th Anniversary
You are invited to the 100th anniversary party of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. On Saturday, June 16, the ELS Historical Society will revisit the convention of one hundred years ago at Albert Lea and Lime Creek. The theme of the day will be “Still Under the Oaks.” The program will begin at 3:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (Albert Lea, Minnesota). Following the program and a catered lunch, a brief commemorative service will be held at Lime Creek Lutheran Church (Lake Mills, Iowa). Speak with Pastor Ferkenstad before May 20th about registering and carpooling.
Enrollment Open for King of Grace School 2018-2019
King of Grace Preschool is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. We offer a 3-year old class that meets two days a week, and a 4-year old class that meets 3 days a week. If your child is ready for preschool, please contact the school (763-546-3131) for instructions on how to enroll. King of Grace school is also enrolling for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Sign Up to Be a Door Greeter!
Please visit kingofgracelutheran.com/missions/greeter to sign up for your preferred date(s). ALL King of Grace members are invited to be door greeters prior to Sunday morning and holiday worship services. Door Greeters may be singles, couples, or entire families. Door Greeter duties include: Putting on a name tag and a welcoming smile, opening the door, and directing people to the coat racks and/or restroom if needed. We need offering counters on Sunday mornings after second service around six times per year for about 20 minutes. If you are available to help, please contact the church office at 763-546-3131 or email email@example.com. No experience necessary, training will be provided. In addition to offering counters, we are also in need of volunteers for the Video Team and Ushers. King of Grace is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work 20 hours per month. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contracts and budgets, some graphic design work, and works with the boards and committees at King of Grace to give advice on the effectiveness of various marketing strategies and opportunities.
