Confirmation
Through confirmation, 7th and 8th graders are strengthened in their understanding of what the bible teaches. The youth spend 90 minutes each week during the school year studying the doctrines (teachings) of Holy Scripture as presented in Luther's Small Catechism. At the end of their 8th grade year, the students profess their faith in front of the congregation and then are confirmed the following week.
