Parents and Community Organization
The Parents and Community (PAC) Organization exists to strengthen King of Grace Lutheran School by engaging parents, fostering volunteerism, enriching student learning, and building a supportive community for students, families, faculty, and staff.
The Parents and Community Organization is King of Grace Lutheran School's parent-teacher organization. PAC strengthens the school by bringing families and staff together, encouraging volunteer involvement, and supporting meaningful learning experiences. Guided by a vision of encouragement, connection, and belonging, PAC brings families, teachers, staff, and alumni together through relationship‑building, school program support, and meaningful community engagement. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and ongoing collaboration, PAC enhances learning opportunities, supports and appreciates teachers and staff, and helps every family—new or returning—feel welcomed and connected within the King of Grace community.
Each year, PAC organizes a few big events: the plant sale, gala, and teacher appreciation week. They also coordinate several smaller events like Family Roller Skating Night, the Book Fair, and Restaurant Fundraisers. The PAC team also arranges volunteers for several other school events. Membership is open to all currently enrolled families and caregivers, alumni, and church members. New and current families will be updated regularly on upcoming opportunities to get involved. You can also reach out to pac@kog-els.org if you’d like to get involved.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
-
The King of Grace Lutheran School Annual Gala is one of our signature fundraising events, bringing together families, alumni, and community partners for an evening of celebration, generosity, and purpose. The funds we raise from the gala support special in-class learning opportunities andstudent field trips, covering admission costs and transportation so every child can experience hands-on learning beyond the classroom, sparking curiosity and deepening their understanding of the world around them. There are many ways your gifts can be used: collecting donations, communications, event planning, and more.
Save the date for the 2026 Gala! Saturday, November 7, at the Club at Golden Valley.
-
Each year, PAC organizes a Gerten's plant sale fundraiser. Individuals and families can select from a variety of annuals, perrenials, hanging baskets and more. Ordering information is sent out late winter/early spring; plants are delivered to the school for pick up in early May. PAC receives 30% of sales. Volunteers are needed each spring to organize and distribute plant orders.
-
PAC hosts a variety of fun events throughout the year to bring families together and support our school community. Join us for roller-skating night in the winter. Throughout the year, we also partner with local restaurants for fundraiser nights, giving families an easy way to enjoy a meal out while helping raise money for school programs.
-
The Parent Connection team of PAC helps families feel connected from the moment they join the school community. Classroom parents reach out to welcome new families, answer questions, and help them learn the rhythms and routines of the school. Throughout the year, they help to keep everyone informed and engaged.
-
PAC helps coordinate volunteers for different school events like the hosting the book fair, setting up for the Christmas program, and cleaning up after the Veterans Day program.
-
Every Spring, PAC organizes different activities for Teacher Appreciation Week including stocking the teacher fridge with yummy snacks, “Dress like a teacher day,” and praying over the teachers.
